Every blade is ground, lapped, and inspected before it goes back to you — the same edge we'd run in our own shearing work. Prices assume clean, undamaged, rust-free blades.

Not sure which bevel or width your handpiece and animals call for? Call and we'll help you pick. Premier 1 show blade stock changes, so one quick call or email gets you what's on the shelf today. Products can be picked up with a drop-off order or shipped with your sharpening return.

Two ways to get your blades to us — both with about a two-day turnaround once they're in our hands.

Drop-off in Syracuse

  1. Call ahead at 574-850-7061 so we know you're coming.
  2. Bring your blades to 1401 N Huntington St, Syracuse, IN 46567 — counted and, if you can, wiped clean.
  3. Pick up in about two days. We'll call when your order is ready.

Mail-in, from anywhere

  1. Pack blades securely — keep sets together and pad the box so edges can't bang around in transit.
  2. Include a note with your name, phone, email, return address, and what you'd like done.
  3. Ship them to us at the address below. Most orders are sharpened within about two days of arrival.
  4. We confirm your total — sharpening plus return shipping — by phone or email, then your blades head back to you.

Common questions

How fast is the turnaround?

About two days once your blades are in our hands. For mail-in orders, add shipping time each way. Fair week and shearing season get busy — if you're up against a deadline, call first and we'll tell you honestly whether we can make it.

What can you sharpen?

Large and small clipper blade sets, shearing combs, and shearing cutters — including the blades and combs used for llama and alpaca work.

What condition should my blades be in?

Listed prices assume blades arrive clean, undamaged, and rust-free. Pieces that need cleaning carry a $1.00 surcharge each, and severely rusted or previously mis-ground pieces carry a $2.50 reconditioning surcharge each — we'll always confirm your total before the work comes back to you.

Do you sell new blades, combs, and cutters?

Yes — we sell new Nobles Equipment combs and cutters (specs and prices are in the Products section above) and new Premier 1 show blades. Show blade stock changes, so call 574-850-7061 or email us for what's on hand.
